    L’Osservatore è l'unico abitante del Nessun Mondo e colui che lo controlla. Si riferisce a se stesso come “Signore dei mondi” mentre gli altri personaggi lo chiamano semplicemente “lui”, “quello lì” o altri termini vaghi. Il nome “Osservatore” non esiste all’interno del loro universo. Il suo nome, sconosciuto a tutti, è Dišakamak.

    ー Aspetto ー

    L’Osservatore è una creatura dall’aspetto antropomorfo, estremamente vecchio, pieno di rughe in viso e con la pelle molle nel resto del corpo. La sua corporatura è magra e scavata. La sua pelle è rosa grigiastro. I suoi occhi sono dorati, il sinistro più chiaro. È quasi pelato, gli rimangono pochi ciuffi in testa di capelli biondi. Non ha nessun tipo di peluria nel corpo, nemmeno ciglia e sopracciglia. Ha perso quasi tutti i denti, ha solo un paio di molari rimasti. Nelle braccia nasconde dei lunghi artigli neri che fuoriescono tra le dita quando deve combattere. È abbastanza debole e si stanca facilmente, motivo per cui quando combatte deve necessariamente terminare in fretta, altrimenti rischia di essere sopraffatto. Se resta in piedi troppo a lungo gli cedono le gambe. Non indossa nulla di sfarzoso: un unico grosso telo con un buco per la testa, legato in vita, che copre tutto il corpo eccetto le braccia. Non porta scarpe o altri accessori.

    ー Carattere e Abilità ー

    L’Osservatore è una creatura motivata principalmente dall’odio. Odia tutti. Umani, animali, angeli, demoni, Dei, Diavoli, vampiri, streghe. Qualsiasi essere vivente. Vive secondo il principio di infliggere ad altri la stessa sofferenza che ha patito lui. Passa la maggior parte del tempo solo nel suo mondo ad osservare ciò che succede negli altri mondi, pianificando assalti e uccisioni a creature random. In particolare si diverte a nascondersi nel buio, dato che si vedono solo gli artigli e gli occhi. E' pericoloso, veloce e imprevedibile, può disperdere il suo corpo e nascondersi nell'oscurità, non è facile da colpire. Sfrutta sempre l'effetto sorpresa e aspetta che il nemico sia distratto per sopraffarlo, dato che in quanto a forza fisica è abbastanza debole e la resistenza del suo vecchio corpo è poca.

    In tutto ciò, ha una certa passione per la lettura e possiede un lessico molto ampio; non è ostile con Higgs Boson solo perché apprezza la sua poesia. Ha una voce bassa e molto rauca, simile a quella di un fumatore incallito. In quanto creatura di luce, non ha la necessità di nutrirsi ed è virtualmente immortale.

    L’Osservatore vive nel Nessun Mondo ed è impossibile da rintracciare. Dato che lo controlla, è capace di recepire ogni qualvolta qualcuno vi entra; quando succede si precipita subito a scacciare gli intrusi. Attraverso le peculiari caratteristiche del Nessun Mondo è inoltre capace di aprire finestre sugli altri mondi e osservarli. Considera il Nessun Mondo come il suo regno nonché un luogo che deve rimanere inesplorato per il bene dell’universo intero.

    Il Nessun Mondo, in realtà, non è un mondo vero e proprio. Si tratta dell'insieme degli spazi che dividono i vari mondi esistenti: se il Nessun Mondo sparisse, gli altri collasserebbero su se stessi. E’ sprovvisto di terreno, è un unico enorme spazio. E' buio e silenzioso. Nel vuoto fluttuano singolari piattaforme e talvolta stanze in pietra, raramente se ne trovano due attaccate. A parte queste costruzioni, nel Nessun Mondo non c'è nulla. Il Nessun Mondo e di conseguenza il resto dei Mondi sono mantenuti stabiliti dal Filato del Destino lasciato nell’universo da Namtar dopo il SUO sacrificio. E' un luogo inaccessibile se non dal suo unico abitante. L’unico modo per raggiungerlo da chi non ci abita è spiegato in un antico tomo perso nella biblioteca di Lbel KiannatEri: consiste nell’aprire un portale per lo stesso mondo in cui ci si trova e in seguito romperlo, in tal modo esso si disintegra e si ricostruisce diventando un portale per il Nessun Mondo.

    ー Nel Blood World
  • Silver: Considera Silver come una creatura dal potenziale sprecato. Apprezza il suo carattere, ma dato che permette ad una discendente di Ship God di vivere nel suo mondo e ha un rapporto di amicizia con le sue subordinate, la disprezza come qualsiasi altro essere.
  • Ashoka: La odia, così come il resto della sua famiglia. E’ stato lui a maledirla.
  • Jaya: Fu lui ad ucciderla.

  • Shiphrah: Lo odia e gli ha lanciato qualche maledizione. Spesse volte tenta di assalirlo per ucciderlo; lo vorrebbe morto sul serio, ma lo fa per gioco, per fargli paura e ammirare la sua faccia terrorizzata.
  • Higgs Boson: Ha tentato di attaccarla, ma dato che lei è uno Spettro non gli è possibile farlo. Alla fine si è arreso. Higgs ha scritto alcune poesie sulla sua storia.

  • Kasânītu: Suo gemello, nato dalla stessa luce. L’unico verso cui l’Osservatore prova dell’affetto.
  • Strangelet: Odia il fatto che occupi il suo mondo. Vorrebbe tanto ucciderla, ma non è in grado dato che lei è uno Spettro.

    • ー Storia passata ー

    L’Osservatore è tra le creature più vecchie esistenti. Nacque nel vuoto all’origine dell’universo, creato da Namtar dalle prime luci assieme a Kasânītu. Si svegliarono quando Namtar chiamò i loro nomi. I loro corpi antropomorfi erano composti di sola luce; Dišakamak era biondo con gli occhi dorati, suo fratello rosso con occhi rubini. All’inizio Namtar pianificava di creare sette creature che insieme rappresentassero la luce, e lo Spazio allo stesso modo in cui ESSO rappresentava il Tempo, ma sottovalutò il potere richiesto da tale idea e scoprì ben presto che il materiale non era sufficiente. In un luogo però instabile dove l’oscurità faceva da padrona, i loro corpi, che erano come gusci vuoti, vennero inghiottiti e corrotti - una cosa che Namtar non aveva previsto. Per stabilizzare l’universo e la sua oscurità, Namtar si sacrificò e diede origine al Filato del Destino, ma ormai era troppo tardi per Dišakamak e Kasânītu; soffrirono un dolore indescrivibile che cambiò completamente i loro corpi. Kasânītu morì e divenne pietra, mentre Dišakamak diventò la creatura vecchia e degradata che è nel presente. Ripose il corpo di Kasânītu in una delle costruzioni in pietra del Nessun Mondo, promettendo a se stesso che l’avrebbe protetto fino alla fine dei suoi giorni.

    Quando notò che vari mondi iniziavano a formarsi sentì l'istinto di dover proteggere il suo, quindi sigillò ogni portale che potesse portare al Nessun Mondo in modo che solo lui riuscisse ad entrare e uscire. La minaccia percepita, assieme al dolore che sopportò e la perdita del fratello, fecero nascere in lui tutti quei sentimenti negativi verso gli altri esseri viventi. Cominciò ad osservare le vite delle nuove creature per poi tormentarle. Il suo intento era, ed è, far provare agli altri lo stesso dolore che provò lui.

    Questi sentimenti non nacquero subito. Poco dopo essere stato degradato, passò un tempo relativamente breve ad osservare le altre creature, ma senza provare un così forte odio. Quando iniziò a formarsi una civiltà seguì le loro vicende, come uno spettatore al cinema, e imparò molte cose, tra cui il parlare. Avendo osservato i mondi per così tanto tempo conosce migliaia di lingue, sia vive che estinte, così come migliaia di diverse culture e storie. Fu il vedere la loro serenità e il loro condurre una vita felice assieme ai propri cari a scatenare il suo astio.

    In un futuro non molto lontano, Devanampiya sfiderà l’Osservatore con l’intenzione di ucciderlo, nella speranza di rimuovere la maledizione lanciata su Ashoka. Devanampiya riuscirà ad ucciderlo e prenderà quindi il controllo del Nessun Mondo, diventando il nuovo “Signore dei Mondi”, ma questo non rimuoverà la maledizione.

    ー Good Ending AU
    In questo AU, l’uccisione dell’Osservatore è invece efficace nel rimuovere la maledizione di Ashoka, motivo per cui non morirà raggiunti i 1003 anni.

    The Observer is the sole inhabitant of the NoWorld and the one who controls it. He refers to himself as the “Lord of the Worlds“, while the other characters simply call him “him”, “that one”, or other vague terms. The name “Observer” does not exist within their universe. His name, unknown to all, is Dišakamak.

    ー Appearance ー

    The Observer is an anthropomorphic creature, extremely old, with a wrinkled face and loose skin on the rest of his body. His body is thin and gaunt. His skin is a greyish pink. His eyes are golden, the left one lighter than the right. He’s almost totally bald, only a few tufts of blond hair remain on his head. He has no body hair whatsoever, not even eyelashes or eyebrows. He has lost almost all his teeth, only a pair of molars is left. Inside his arms there are long black claws that protrude between the fingers when he has to fight. He’s quite weak and gets tired easily, which is why when he fights, he must finish quickly, otherwise he risks being defeated. If he stands for too long, his legs fall. He doesn’t wear anything fancy: a single large cloth with a hole for his head, tied at the waist, covering his entire body except his arms. He wears no shoes or other accessories.

    ー Character and Abilities ー

    The Observer is a creature driven primarily by hatred. He hates everyone. Humans, animals, angels, demons, Gods, Devils, vampires, witches. Every living being. He lives by the principle of inflicting on others the same suffering he has endured. He spends most of his time alone in his world observing what is happening in other worlds, planning assaults and killings of random creatures. In particular, he enjoys hiding in the dark, as only his claws and eyes are visible. He is dangerous, fast and unpredictable, he can disperse his body and hide in the darkness, he is not easy to hit. He always relies on the element of surprise and waits for his enemy to be distracted before attacking them, as he is quite weak in terms of physical strength and his old body has little resistance.

    Aside from this, he has a certain passion for reading and possesses a very broad vocabulary; he’s not hostile towards Higgs Boson simply because he appreciates her poetry. He has a low, very hoarse voice, similar to that of a heavy smoker. As a Creature of Light, he has no need to eat and is virtually immortal.

    The Observer lives in the NoWorld and he’s impossible to track down. Since he controls it, he is able to detect whenever someone enters; when this happens, he immediately rushes to chase away the intruders. Thanks to the peculiar characteristics of the NoWorld, he is also able to open windows onto other worlds and observe them. He considers the NoWorld his kingdom and a place that must remain unexplored for the sake of the entire universe.

    The NoWorld is not actually a real world. It’s the space outside the various worlds: if the NoWorld disappeared, the others would collapse. It has no ground, it’s just a single enormous space. It’s dark and silent. Singular stone platforms and sometimes stone rooms float in the void. Apart from these constructions, there is nothing in the NoWorld. The NoWorld and, consequently, the rest of the Worlds are kept in place by the Thread of Fate left in the universe by Namtar after ITS sacrifice. The NoWorld is inaccessible except to its sole inhabitant. The only way to reach it for those who do not live there is explained in an ancient tome lost in the library of Lbel KiannatEri: it consists of opening a portal to the same world in which one finds oneself and then breaking it, so that it disintegrates and rebuilds itself, becoming a portal to the NoWorld.

    ー Relationships with other characters ー

    ー In the Blood World
  • Silver: Silver: He considers Silver a creature with wasted potential. He appreciates her character, but since she allows a descendant of Ship God to live in her world and has a friendly relationship with her subordinates, he despises her like any other being.
  • Ashoka: He hates her, just like the rest of her family. He was the one who cursed her.
  • Jaya: He was the one who killed her.

    • ー In the Ship World
  • Shiphrah: He hates them and has casted a few curses on them. He often tries to attack them to kill them; he doesn’t really want them dead, but he does it for fun, to scare them and admire their terrified face.
  • Higgs Boson: He tried to attack her, but since she is a Spectre, he cannot do so. In the end, he gave up. Higgs wrote some poems about his story.

    • ー Other worlds
  • Kasânītu: His twin, born from the same light. The only one the Observer feels affection towards.
  • Strangelet: He hates the fact that she occupies his world. He would love to kill her, but he can't because she is a Spectre.

    • ー Past ー

    The Observer is one of the oldest existing creatures. He was born in the void at the origin of the universe, created by Namtar from the first light, together with Kasânîtu. They awoke when Namtar called their names. Their anthropomorphic bodies were composed solely of light; Dišakamak was blond with golden eyes, his brother red with ruby eyes. At first, Namtar planned to create seven creatures that together would represent Light, and Space in the same way that IT represented Time, but he underestimated the power required for such an idea and soon discovered that there was not enough material. Unfortunately, in an unstable place where darkness reigned, their bodies, which were like empty shells, were engulfed and corrupted - something Namtar had not foreseen. To stabilise the universe and its darkness, Namtar sacrificed ITself and released the Thread of Fate, but it was too late for Dišakamak and Kasânītu; they suffered indescribable pain that completely changed their bodies. Kasânītu died and became stone, while Dišakamak became the old and degraded creature he is today. He placed Kasânītu's body in one of the stone structures of the NoWorld, promising himself that he would protect it until the end of his days.

    When he noticed that various worlds were beginning to form, he felt the instinct to protect his own, so he sealed every portal that could lead to the NoWorld so that only he could enter and exit. The perceived threat, along with the pain he endured and the loss of his brother, gave rise to all those negative feelings towards other living beings. He began to observe the lives of the new creatures and then torment them. His intent was, and still is, to make others feel the same pain he felt.

    These feelings did not arise immediately. Shortly after being degraded, he spent a relatively short time observing the other creatures, but without feeling such strong hatred. When civilisations began to form, he followed their stories, like a spectator at the cinema, and learned many things, including how to speak. Having observed the other worlds for so long, he learnt thousands of languages, both living and extinct, as well as thousands of different cultures and histories. It was seeing their serenity and their happy lives with their loved ones that triggered his hatred.

    In a not distant future, Devanampiya will challenge the Observer with the intention of killing him, in hopes of removing the curse cast on Ashoka. Devanampiya will succeed in killing him and will then take control of the NoWorld, becoming the new “Lord of the Worlds”, but this will not remove the curse.

    In this AU, killing the Observer is effective in removing Ashoka's curse, which is why she will not die when she reaches 1003 years of age.
