Ship God è da ormai migliaia di anni il Dio dello Ship World, che vive in pace col suo Diavolo. Insieme gestiscono la società del mondo ed amministrano il web dai server del castello. Vive nel castello, camera sua si trova al penultimo piano. "Ship God"/"Siun Akkaan" non è altro che un titolo. Non ha un vero e proprio nome. In passato si faceva chiamare "Shiphrah".
ー Aspetto ー
ー CorpoShip God ha un aspetto molto simile a quello di un individuo di sesso maschile. Ha le spalle larghe e un fisico a triangolo rovesciato. A vederlo sembra magro e delicato, ma ha un corpo allenato e abbastanza muscoloso in maniera omogenea, dovuto a secoli passati a lottare e le diverse armi che utilizza. Ha una pelle bianco latte costellata di vecchie cicatrici, soprattutto nel torso. In particolare, ha un'ustione distribuita sulla spalla destra e vicina alla caviglia destra dovuta ad un incendio, un profondo taglio sul fianco destro, un colpo di proiettile sulla coscia sinistra e il morso di un vampiro sull'avambraccio sinistro. Teoricamente potrebbe farle scomparire tutte quante, tuttavia si tiene le cicatrici come una sorta di punizione per il suo passato. La sua temperatura corporea è più bassa rispetto alla media, al tocco risulta freddo e poco piacevole. Ha le unghie gialle e le orecchie a punta. Gli occhi sono neri, tuttavia, risplendono di luce proporzionalmente al suo potere, quindi normalmente appaiono bianchi, quando è stanco grigiastri. Guardarlo dritto negli occhi è pericoloso, si rischia di perdere la vista. I capelli sono azzurro chiaro, lunghi oltre le spalle; di solito li tiene sciolti, talvolta legati in una coda o in una treccia, specialmente quando comincia a fare caldo. Dovrebbe avere un paio di antenne rivolte verso il dietro, tuttavia non gli piacciono, quindi le tiene abbassate insieme al resto dei capelli. In passato erano più corti - li aveva tagliati molte migliaia di anni prima dopo averli tenuti lunghi fino ai piedi, e crescono molto lentamente.
Possiede un paio di ali dalle piume argentate e dorate, piume che risultano più larghe rispetto alla media degli angeli. Ha un'aureola azzurra e una coda rivestita nella punta di piume azzurre. Odia quella coda, se potesse la taglierebbe, ma Neutronium lo ha avvisato che se le avesse fatto gliela avrebbe fatta ricrescere. All'altezza dello sterno ha "tatuato" sulla pelle uno zero, che normalmente non è visibile, ma si illumina di un tenue rosa al tocco della mano di Neutronium.
Non ha un sesso (nel senso di: sesso gonadico, genitale, fenotipico, gametico, ormonale. Sesso genetico è XX). È privo di un apparato riproduttivo (per quanto riguarda quello urinario, è simile a quello del sesso femminile). La maggior parte delle persone si riferisce a lui al maschile (in particolare chi parla lingue sprovviste di un neutro grammaticale), tuttavia un gruppo ristretto preferisce usare il femminile (ad esempio Vüsala, Berillium e Higgs Boson), altri il neutro. Ship God non ha preferenze a riguardo. Inoltre, non ha nessuna zona erogena e, dato che è stato creato, neanche l'ombelico.
ー Vestiario
Nel suo artwork indossa un lungo vestito azzurro, con mezze maniche blu ricamate d'oro e un sottogonna che richiama le maniche. La gonna azzurra è coperta da due strati di diversa lunghezza di un velo verde chiaro con una fantasia di fiori rossi. Dove gli strati della gonna si incontrano è presente una fascia blu, che mimetizza le cuciture, e al di sopra una più stretta, per richiamare l'effetto gradiente che si viene a creare nella gonna. Il collo è alto e chiuso da due bottoni. Il retro presenta un'ampia apertura. Sopra al vestito indossa delle maniche larghe verde chiaro con una fantasia a girasoli rossi (simile al velo), che si avvolgono attorno al petto e si legano infine sulla schiena con un fiocco. Dietro sono tenute insieme da una semplice fascia elastica. L'avambraccio sinistro è coperto da una fascia blu, che nasconde il segno del morso di vampiro.
In generale indossa vestiti semplici e leggeri, di svariati colori e fantasie, non ha preferenze in particolare. È raro però vederlo con qualcosa di completamente scuro. Di soliti indossa scarpe con tacchi di pochi centimetri, mai più di cinque. Gli piacciono scarpe con tacchi e suole dai colori accesi. In passato indossava abiti più pesanti, in particolare che coprissero le cicatrici sulle braccia. Nel presente non se ne preoccupa più.
Possiede ancora il vecchio vestito che indossava quando operava sotto il nome di "Nurma" (vedi "storia passata"), ma lo tiene in un angolo dell'armadio e non ha assolutamente intenzione di indossare di nuovo qualcosa di simile. Lo tiene come ricordo di ciò che era.
ー Accessori
Non è solito indossare gioielli, li trova scomodi. Porta solamente un orecchino nell'orecchio sinistro, composto da un anello di oro nero, attorno a cui si avvolge un filo metallico blu e a cui sono appese delle piccole piume sintetiche e due fedi nuziali - quelle stesse fedi che indossavano lui e Keziah. L'orecchino fu un regalo della sua vecchia amica Sevda, donatogli prima che lei si trasferisse nel Witch World. A volte attorno alla vita indossa un cinturone di cuoio scuro. Ad esso è attaccata una coccarda di tessuto verde con due "code" gialle (in passato ce n'era una terza, ma si è strappata). Apparteneva a Keziah. Dal bordo inferiore dipartono una serie di catene di bronzo, tra cui ad una sono appese un smeraldo, una perla d'oro e una placca di metallo verde a forma di conchiglia. Anche questo pendente fu un regalo di Sevda. Quando usa l'arco indossa anche un anello d'oro sul pollice.
ー Carattere ー
Di solito, se incrociato lungo la strada e fermato per chiacchierare, Ship God appare come una persona tranquilla e cordiale. Non è molto espansivo, preferisce essere riservato e non parlare di se stesso. Si innervosisce facilmente durante una conversazione, infatti non parla a lungo con nessuno, in quanto a pazienza e voglia di stare ad ascoltare è carente. In ogni caso, tratta tutti con rispetto e gentilezza, per quanto possibile.O almeno, questo è Ship God a livello superficiale, in pubblico, in mezzo a degli sconosciuti. Conoscerlo a livello personale per molti sarebbe sconvolgente. È un irresponsabile, pigro, menefreghista, che trinca litri di alcol e non fa altro che lamentarsi. È questa la persona con cui deve avere a che fare ogni giorno quella santa donna di Ship Devil. Allontana le persone volontariamente, trattandole con indifferenza e antipatia. C'è sempre un muro tra lui e il resto delle persone, anche con i suoi pochi amici. Keziah lo ha definito "uno strato molto spesso di cemento armato". Certo, ha un rapporto di amicizia coi suoi subordinati, ma in realtà loro ne sanno ben poco di lui. Non si apre mai con gli altri. Al contrario, adora fare commenti sarcastici e inappropriati per evitare di parlare di sé. Non è facile metterlo in imbarazzo, ma se si tocca il punto giusto diventa emotivo quanto un ragazzino. È invece molto più semplice farlo incazzare. Basta che gli salti un nervo ed è già pronto a prendere a pugni qualcuno. Non è raro sentirlo commentare in modo antipatico o incitare qualcuno a lottare con lui. Tende a scappare dalle responsabilità, non ha alcuna voglia di lavorare e la maggior parte delle volte non si preoccupa dei problemi, tranne quando si tratta di mettere mano su dei codici di programmazione. Tolto il programmare e il combattere, è del tutto incapace in qualsiasi altra attività. A detta sua, è capace solo di lamentarsi e bere. Nonostante ciò, è una persona molto fedele e affidabile. Se fa una promessa la mantiene, se gli si dà uno scopo lo raggiunge, se ha una missione la porta a termine. Vive secondo la filosofia del "il fine giustifica i mezzi" - l'importante è raggiungere il risultato, non importa come.
Ancora più in profondità nasconde una personalità violenta e spietata, che non guarda in faccia a nessuno, desiderosa di vedere altre persone soffrire e amante della sensazione di sangue fresco sulle proprie mani. Se lo Ship World fosse in guerra, lui sarebbe sempre in prima linea nel bel mezzo della mischia, a trucidare quanti più nemici possibile. In combattimento diventa una macchina il cui unico scopo è uccidere. Si diverte a terrorizzare gli altri, ma quello è un lato pericoloso, che deve sforzarsi di trattenere. Deve impegnarsi, per il bene dello Ship World e di Ship Devil (per questo motivo, negli archi narrativi e negli AU in cui non c'è Ship Devil, oppure è anch'ella malvagia, Ship God rimane un assassino violento).
È convinto di essere una persona orribile, di non meritarsi di essere felice e che avere a che fare con lui porti solo a esiti negativi. Considera la morte di Keziah come una colpa unicamente sua, perché l'ha coinvolta troppo nella sua vita. Lui non aspetta altro che la morte per poterla incontrare di nuovo e porgerle le scuse che le deve. Dalla morte di Keziah in poi, la sua salute sia mentale che fisica è crollata. Diventerà sempre più debole, finché in futuro, circa 33/34 anni dopo il presente, Ship God si suiciderà con un colpo di pistola alla testa, dopo altri tentativi falliti.
Tralasciando le cose tristi. La voce di Ship God solitamente è bassa, ha un timbro abbastanza androgino/verso il maschile. Alza raramente la voce, ma quando urla il suo tono diventa potente e spaventoso, uno di quei toni che ti rimbombano nel petto. Parla con un registro medio/informale, non se la cava per niente in conversazione formali. La maggior parte delle volte ha un atteggiamento distaccato e annoiato.
Non mangia mai, non gli piace e trova quasi tutti i cibi di cattivo sapore. Beve solamente. Il suo alcolico preferito è il rum, può berne a litri e non ubriacarsi. Oltre all'alcol, ha anche il vizio di fumare, ma non esagera - fumerà un paio di sigarette a settimana, se è tanto. Ha smesso solo quando Keziah era incinta ed Elam era piccolo. Bene o male spende le sue giornate tra codici e allenarsi. Amministra i server, corregge eventuali bug o errori, si occupa delle segnalazioni. Il tempo libero lo passa ad allenarsi da solo o con altre persone, o pulire e limare le proprie armi. Le sue giornate sono tranquille, tranne quando un qualche server salta per la troppa affluenza. Un altro suo lavoro è gestire le prigioni del castello.
Grazie a Keziah si era avvicinato ad alcune usanze e festività di BraruAdilla. Nel presente la commemora durante l'anniversario della sua morte: la mattina presto accende una candela che brucia per 24 ore. In seguito porta dei fiori sulla sua tomba.
ー Relazioni con altri personaggi ー
In generale non ha molte amicizie. Non è socievole e non gli interessa avere forti rapporti con gente di altri mondi. A parte l'Osservatore, o gente tipo Silver che odia qualsiasi cosa che respiri, non ha nemici in particolare. Ogni tanto visita il Ne-no-Kuni, giusto per stare un po' tranquillo in un posto in cui nessuno lo conosce, e per menare eventuali demoni che provano a sfidarlo perché lo credono un angelo. A volte si ferma a bere da Maekami, se è da molto tempo che non vede Ashoka. Visitava anche il Witch World quando erano ancora in vita Sevda e la sua famiglia. Sempre per stare in tranquillità, visita anche la Terra, dove i terrestri lo considerano semplicemente una bella donna che visita da sola il luogo. A volte viene importunato, ma basta un cazzotto ben assestato per risolvere la situazione. Spesso si ferma in un bar dove ormai è amico dei proprietari da molte generazioni.ー Nel Blood World

ー Armi e poteri ー
In generale Ship God preferisce affidarsi alle armi piuttosto che alla magia, nonostante sappia usare entrambe con maestria. Meno spesso combatte corpo a corpo, giusto quando è stressato e si deve sfogare. Ha secoli di esperienza alle spalle e una sola sconfitta immersa in una lunga serie di vittorie, può affermare liberamente di poter affrontare qualsiasi avversario, anche in grandi quantità. In combattimento è spietato, una volta che inizia deve portare a termine la lotta a tutti i costi, non sente ragioni. È forte fisicamente.
Conosce principalmente magie curative e del controllo della mente, ma anche altre più strane, ad esempio un potente incantesimo per ridare vita ai cadaveri (non di ricreare i corpi decomposti), che ha utilizzato per riportare in vita Devanampiya e Piyadassi, oppure una magia semi-proibita che ha utilizzato per poter avere un figlio con Keziah, dato che lui fisicamente non è in grado di produrre gameti. La magia che utilizza più spesso è quella per correggere la mira quando tira con l'arco.
Le prime armi utilizzate in vita sua sono state un paio di kopis, le possiede fin dalla sua creazione e ogni tanto le usa anche nel presente. Poi ha un set di quattro ventagli con lame affilate. Li usa combinati al corpo a corpo, a volte li lancia come boomerang se il nemico è distante. Ha anche dei coltelli simili. Infine ha un arco, quello che usa di meno ma con cui è infallibile. Le piume delle ali fanno da frecce - una volta staccate le può modellare a forma di freccia, o qualsiasi altra forma (ricrescono in pochi minuti).
ー Storia passata ー
In principio venne creata da Neutronium, il suo corpo formato utilizzando i primi 56 elementi e materializzato da acqua di lago e dalle tenui tenebre del tramonto. Era un semplice angelo e le era stato dato il nome di Nurma (scelto da Higgs Boson). Vista la natura della sua creazione, era estremamente potente. Nyuto l'aveva creata con lo scopo di combattere per difendere lo Ship World, era unicamente una guerriera, risiedeva nel Castello ma non faceva parte della società. Seguiva sempre Nyuto e non aveva legami con nessun altro, all'inizio nemmeno parlava. Ai tempi era molto più violenta. Quando non combatteva si limitava ad osservare il mondo dalla cima del Castello. Durante questo periodo indossava un vestito molto semplice, lungo fino ai piedi, con maniche larghe appena appoggiate alle spalle che spesso durante un combattimento scivolavano giù, lasciandola a petto nudo. I capelli erano lunghi fino ai piedi, legati in una coda stretta in un lungo hair cuff.In un mondo caotico e disorganizzato come lo Ship World, in cui era presente solo Ship Devil, non in grado di gestire tutte le specie da sola nonostante il suo intento di mantenere la pace, un compito che si era assunta era quello di sedare eventuali risse e ristabilire l'ordine, seppur con l'uso della violenza. Per questo motivo il suo nome cominciò ad essere conosciuto e si fece una certa autorità grazie alla paura. Come affermava Nyuto, Nurma doveva proteggere lo Ship World dall'esterno ma anche da se stesso.
Seppur il suo nome fosse Nurma, tra il popolo era conosciuta con diversi appellativi. Il più comune era Merila, "carnefice", usato anche in letteratura. Altri erano Dabihum, "massacratore"; Sumug, "buio, calamità"; Sallalu, "uccello notturno", per la sua abitudine di osservare lo Ship World dall'alto del castello (nome più di ogni altro utilizzato in contesti informali); Naditum, "donna infertile", in mancanza di un termine appropriato per descrivere la sua identità.
Ad un certo punto, nella speranza di poterla aiutare a mantenere l'ordine, Ship Devil le chiese di diventare un Dio. In un primo momento Nurma rifiutò, ma si interessò quando Ship Devil menzionò la possibilità di diventare più potente. La sfidò a duello per confermare la veridicità di quella affermazione e perse, motivo per cui infine accettò. Nyuto rimase indifferente riguardo quella decisione - era convinto che diventare Dio non avrebbe eliminato il suo ruolo originario.
In seguito, col passare del tempo, fu proprio grazie all'influenza pacifica di Ship Devil che Ship God (il quale aveva abbandonato il nome di Nurma) cominciò a calmarsi e gradualmente abbandonare la violenza. I tempi in cui impugnava sempre le armi e non conosceva altro che la forza bruta diventarono parte del passato.
La presenza di Nurma è stata cancellata sia dalla memoria che dalla storia, ma rimangono tracce di racconti di quei tempi in alcune poesie e prose scritte da Higgs Boson, dove tuttavia l'identità di Nurma è celata sotto uno dei suoi appellativi. Col tempo, Keziah riuscirà a capire la connessione tra "Nurma" e Ship God, confermata da Neutronium in persona, ma non vorrà mai parlargliene.
ー Negli AU ー
ー AU scolasticoE' un professore, ma completamente opposto alla adorabile e volenterosa Ship Devil. Non gliene frega niente degli studenti, è sempre stressato, ogni giorno consuma un numero troppo elevato di caffè e non si impegna affatto. Spesso dimentica lui stesso delle verifiche pianificate. Non si spreca neanche a spiegare, "tanto li promuoviamo comunque". Se gli studenti cominciano una rissa, spera sempre che qualcuno ci lasci le penne. Uno di quelli a cui "insegna" possibilmente. In questo AU è sposato con Keziah, che lavora come curatrice nel museo locale.
ー AU in cui Blood World e Ship World sono alleati (Evil!AU)
In questo AU la storia prosegue in maniera molto differente fin dal principio. Viene creata da Neutronium per essere una guerriera e assassina al servizio di Azure ed eseguire ogni suo ordine. Acquisisce lo status di Dio per essere più potente, come nel canon, ma non il ruolo. Resta sempre Nurma fino al presente, non ci sarà mai nessuno "Ship God". Sia lei che la squadra di angeli sono subordinati di Azure. Le porta infinito rispetto e la segue ovunque vada manco fosse la sua ombra.
Per quanto riguarda Keziah, la conosce per caso. Lei è una criminale che per divertirsi appicca incendi e fabbrica bombe. Un certo giorno si trovano nello stesso luogo, Nurma per sedare una rissa, Keziah per dar fuoco a qualcosa e far crollare un edificio, lo stesso però in cui Nurma era entrata. Appena se ne rende conto la raggiunge in fretta e furia e le urla di scappare, mentre le altre persone coinvolte nella rissa rimangono dentro e finiscono intrappolate tra le macerie. Per ringraziarla Nurma la invita a bere qualcosa e a restare nel castello, dato che Keziah non aveva fissa dimora. Alla fine si frequentano, e come nel canon hanno una relazione e un figlio. Keziah però rimane uccisa durante una rivolta, rivolta da cui per mano di Nurma nessuno esce vivo. In seguito Nurma si chiude in se stessa più di quanto già non lo fosse e si fissa come unico scopo nella vita di stare al servizio di Azure.
In quanto a relazioni, dopo la morte di Keziah non ha più stretto alcun legame con nessuno. Esiste solo in funzione di Azure ed esegue ogni suo ordine. Non ha un rapporto coi subordinati, se non puramente "professionale". Non ha rapporti con amici di Azure come Silver e le streghe del Blood World, non dà attenzione a ciò che loro dicono a meno che non sia Azure a ordinarle di farlo. Per Nurma esiste solo la parola di Azure ー tutto il resto lo ignora.
ー Human!AU
Nurma Yaldiko, un uomo di 27 anni. Nato in Iran, si è trasferito in Azerbaijan durante l'adolescenza, dove ha conosciuto Sevda. I due, infine, verso i vent'anni, si sono trasferiti insieme in Giappone. Vivono in un piccolo appartamento nel centro di Mitakihara. Lavora come programmatore nel settore dell'architettura; grazie a questo impiego ha conosciuto Keziah, con cui è fidanzato da poco più di un anno. È quel tipo di dipendente che arriva, fa il suo lavoro e se ne va senza dire niente, senza interagire con nessuno, perché non vuole che i suoi colleghi si interessino alla sua vita privata. È un uomo estremamente riservato, nonché fissato con l'ordine. Quando non è al lavoro lo si può trovare in giro ad ubriacarsi - raramente è a casa. Nel tempo libero, fuori dal lavoro, indossa abiti lunghi ed eleganti: uno dei motivi per cui tiene la sua vita per sé e non condivide nulla coi colleghi. Per strada, certi fischiano, altri gli danno del crossdresser, altri del travestito. Gli ultimi se sono a portata di mano li prende a botte. Ha una denuncia per aggressione, poi ritirata, alle spalle. Ha sempre il timore che Keziah possa trovarlo strano e lasciarlo… mentre Keziah adora alla follia il suo stile. In futuro si sposeranno. In qualche modo è amico di Azure.
ー Idol!AU
Membro del duo "Night Bird, Don't Sing" assieme a Sevda. Opera col nome di Sallalu, è alla voce e alla chitarra acustica. Il nome del gruppo è una reference a Blackbird di Norma John. Sono un duo nato per hobby, abbastanza popolare, molto affezionato ai fan e spesso in giro per le strade. Fanno musica semplice, leggera, da ballare e facile da cantare e ricordare. Hanno scritto un paio di tormentoni. Scrivono solo in Inglese. Sono amici di MiMaCon e ogni tanto fanno una canzone insieme.
ー Good Ending AU (il Blood World non sparisce, Ashoka non muore, Shiphrah non si suicida)
In questo AU viene convinto a non togliersi la vita e affrontare, per quanto possibile, un percorso di terapia. È l'unico AU in cui alla fine rivela a Devil di non averla mai amata, bensì di essersi imposto di provare dei sentimenti falsi (ma tanto Devil lo sapeva già). Inoltre lascia il ruolo di Dio, ma non rende pubblica la notizia. Più avanti assisterà all'uccisione di Devil da parte della sorella, e ne rimarrà talmente scosso da arrendersi completamente. Rimasto solo, finirà per allearsi con la sorella, e tornerà ad essere un mero combattente senza altro scopo, come lo era in principio.
ー Genshin!AU
ー Curiosità ー
- Una volta ha sfidato Sevda a chi beveva più margarita. Sevda è crollata dopo il primo, lui ne ha retti 22.
- Non ha un colore preferito in particolare, ma adora i toni pastello.
- Adora i fiori del melograno, perché gli ricordano Sevda.
- Quando parla della sua vita non usa mai la parola "vita", bensì "esistenza".
- Non prova dolore, non importa quanto profonda possa essere una ferita infertagli. Prova però altre sensazioni come stanchezza, affaticamento o bruciature.
- Non può sognare.
- In passato si divertiva a programmare giochini semplici. Il suo preferito era “Diuvuk Lasammi” (Running Devil) un side-scrolling endless runner in cui il giocatore controllava una piccola Ship Devil e doveva saltare per prendere le caramelle ed evitare le bottiglie di vino. L'ha aggiornato nel corso del tempo aggiungendo livelli di difficoltà, creazione di profili e gilde, leaderboard e achievements. Ha smesso anni fa alla versione 6.3, ma è ancora online e attivo.
- I vari appellativi nelle diverse lingue dello Ship World non sono equivalenti a “Ship God” bensì hanno ognuno un significato diverso in base alla cultura della popolazione e alla visione della sua figura. Since thousands of years ago, Ship God has been the God of the Ship World, who lives in peace with its Devil. Together, they handle the world's society and administer the world's web from the servers in the Castle. Ship God lives in the Castle, their room is on the second-to-last floor. "Ship God"/"Siun Akkaan" is merely a title. They doesn't have a proper name. In the past, they used to be called "Shiphrah".
ー Appearance ー
ー BodyShip God looks similar to a person of the male sex. They has wide shoulders and an inverted triangle body shape. They may seem thin and delicate, but their body is fit and quite muscular homogeneously due to all the hundreds of years spent fighting and the various weapons they wields. Their skin is milky white, covered with old scars, mostly on the upper body. In particular, they has a burn on the right shoulder and near the right ankle, caused by an arson, a deep sword cut on the right hip, a bullet scar on the left thigh and a vampire bite on the left forearm. Theoretically they could make them all disappear, but they keeps every scar as a sort of punishment for their past. Their body temperature is lower than average, when touched their skin is cold and unpleasant. Their nails are yellow and their ears are pointy. Their eyes are black, however, they shine brightly proportionally to their energy, so normally they look white, a bit greyish when they's tired. It's dangerous to look at them directly in the eyes - there's the risk of losing your sight. Their hair is light blue, long over the shoulders; usually they keeps it down, sometimes in a ponytail or a braid, especially when it's hot. They should have a pair of antennas, but they doesn't like it so they keeps it within the rest of the hair. In the past, their hair was shorter - they cut it thousands of years before and it grows very slowly.
They has a pair of wings whose feathers are silver (golden in the first row) and are slightly larger than angels' average. They has a light blue halo and a tail with a feathered tip (light blue feathers). They hates that tail, they'd cut it if they could, but Neutronium said that if they cut it, it would grow back. On the sternum there's a "tattoo" of the number zero, which usually isn't visible but it glows with a faint pink light at Neutronium's touch.
Ship God doesn't have a sex (as in: gonadic, genital, gametic, phenotypical, hormonal sexes. Genetic sex is XX). They doesn't have a reproductive system (while the urinary one is similar to the female sex's). Most people refer to them with masculine terms and he/him pronouns (in particular those who speak a language without a neutral grammatical gender), but there's some people who prefer feminine terms and she/her (like Vüsala, Berillium and Higgs Boson) and some neutral terms. Ship God doesn't have a preference on this matter. Additionally, they doesn't have any erogenous zone and, since they was created, not even the navel.
ー Clothing
In their artwork, they wears a long light blue dress, with blue half sleeves embroidered in gold, and an underskirt layer with the same print. The skirt is covered with two different-length layers of a light green and red flowers veil. Where all the layers meet, there's a blue band that conceals the sewing, and over that, a second smaller band, to recall the gradient effect created on the skirt. The neck is high and closed by two buttons. The back has a wide opening. Over the dress, they wears short wide sleeves, which are light green with a red sunflowers pattern, like the veil. They wrap around the chest and are tied in a ribbon on the back. On the back they're kept together by a simple elastic band. The left forearm is covered by a blue band, to cover the vampire bite.
In general, they wears simple and light dresses, of various colours and patterns, they doesn't have particular preferences. However it's rare to see them wearing something completely dark. Usually they wears heels a few centimetres long (never more than 5 cm). They likes shoes with bright-coloured heels. In the past, they used to wear heavier dresses, with long sleeves to cover the scars on the arms. In the present they doesn't care anymore.
They still owns the old dress they used to wear when they was known as "Nurma" (see "Past"), but they keeps it in a corner of the wardrobe and won't ever wear something similar again. They just keeps it as a memory of what they once was.
ー Accessories
They doesn't wear jewels because they finds them uncomfortable. They only wears an earring on the left ear, composed of a black gold ring, around which a blue metallic string is wound, and some tiny synthetic feathers and a pair of wedding rings are hung - the same rings them and Keziah wore. The earring was a present from their old friend Sevda, before she moved to the Witch World. Sometimes they wears a large leather belt around the waist. On it there's a green cocarde with two pastel yellow "tails" (there was a third one once, but it broke). It belonged to Keziah. From the inferior border some bronze chains depart; one has a pendant with a green emerald, a golden pearl and a seashell-shaped green metallic plate. The pendant was another present from Sevda. When they uses the bow, they also wears an archery ring on their thumb.
ー Character ー
Usually, if you meet Ship God in town and stop them to chat a bit, they seems like a calm and cordial person. They's not very expansive, they prefers being reserved and not talking about themself. They easily gets nervous during a conversation, in fact they doesn't talk much with anyone, they lacks patience and willingness to listen. Anyway, they treats everyone with respect and kindness, as far as possible.Or, well, this is Ship God superficially, in the public, with strangers. Knowing them at a personal level would be shocking for most people. They's an irresponsible, lazy, uncaring person, who drinks litres of alcohol everyday and does nothing except complaining. This is the kind of person that Ship Devil has to deal with. Ship God pushes away people on purpose, by treating them with indifference and antipathy. There's always a wall between them and other people, even with their friends. Keziah called it "a very very thick layer of ferroconcrete". Yeah, they's friends with their subordinates, but in reality the angels don't know much about Ship God. They never opens up with others. On the contrary, they loves commenting in a sarcastic or inappropriate way to avoid talking about themself. It's not easy to embarrass them, but if you touch the right spot they becomes emotional like a little kid. Instead, it's very easy to piss them off. You just need to get on one of their nerves and they's ready to punch someone. It's not uncommon to hear them saying something offensive or provoking someone to fight with them. They usually runs away from responsibilities, they doesn't want to work and most times they doesn't care about problems, except when it comes to coding. Besides coding and fighting, they's and incompetent at everything. As they says, they only knows how to complain and drink. Despite all of this, they's a loyal and trustworthy person. If they makes a promise they keeps it, if they's given an objective they fulfills it, if they has a mission they completes it. They lives by the saying "the end justifies the means" - reaching the goal is what's important, no matter how.
Even deeper, they hides a violent and merciless personality that stops at nothing, eager to make people suffer, and avid of the feeling of fresh blood on their hands. If the Ship World was in war, they'd always be in the front line, killing as many enemies as possible. In a fight, they becomes like a war machine whose only goal is killing. Ship God enjoys terrifying others, but this side of them is dangerous, they constantly forces themself to hide it. They have to endure it, for the sake of the Ship World and Ship Devil (in fact, in AUs where Ship Devil is absent, or she's evil, Ship God stays a violent assassin).
They's convinced they's a horrible person who doesn't deserve happiness, and that being involved with them eventually leads to a negative outcome. They considers Keziah's death as his fault, because she engaged too much with them. They's waiting to die in order to meet her again and apologise to her properly. Since Keziah's death, both their physical and mental health have been deteriorating. They'll become weaker and weaker with the passage of time until, 33/34 years after the present, Ship God will commit suicide by shooting themself in the head, after a couple of failed attempts.
Sad stuff aside. Ship God's voice is usually low, androgynous, a bit masculine. They rarely raises their voice, but when they screams their tone becomes strong and scary, so much that it resonates in your chest. They speaks in informal speech, they's bad at formal conversations. Most times their attitude is aloof and bored.
They never eats, they doesn't like it and finds almost every food bad-toasting. They only drinks alcohol. Their favourite is rum, they could drink litres of it without getting drunk. They also smokes, but not very much - around two cigarettes a week. They stopped completely when Keziah was pregnant and Elam was little. They spends all day between coding and training, more or less. They administers SW's servers, corrects bugs and errors, manages reportings. They spends their free time sparring or cleaning their weapons. Their days are calm, except when a server goes down. Another job of theirs is managing the Castle's prisons.
Thanks to Keziah, they learnt some customs and festivities from BraruAdilla. In the present they commemorates her during the anniversary of her death: every year, early in the morning, they lits a candle that burns for 24 hours. Later, they brings flowers to her grave.
ー Relationships with other characters ー
Generally, Ship God doesn't have many friends. They isn't sociable and they's not interested in having strong relationships with people from other worlds. Aside from the Observer, or people like Silver who hate everything that breathes, they doesn't have enemies in particular. Sometimes they visits the Ne-no-Kuni, just to relax in a place where nobody knows them, and to beat up demons who try to fight them thinking they's an angel. Occasionally they stops by Maekami, if they hasn't seen Ashoka for a while. They used to visit the Witch World as well, when Sevda and her family were alive. Also to relax, they visits the Earth, where Earthlings just see them as a good-looking woman enjoying a trip. Sometimes they's importuned by men, but a nice slap across the face is enough to solve the situation. They often stops by the same bar, they befriended the various owners over the years.ー In the Blood World

ー Weapons and powers ー
In general, Ship God prefers fighting with weapons rather than magic, even if they can use both excellently. They fights hand-to-hand less frequently, just when they's stressed and needs to let off some steam. They has a centuries-long experience and only one defeat among countless victories, so they can confidently affirm that they can fight anyone, even in groups. In a fight, they's merciless. Once they starts a fight they must end it no matter what, they can't be stopped. They's also strong physically.
They mostly knows healing magic spells and mind-controlling spells, but also some strange ones, like a strong spell to give life to corpses (but not recreate decomposed bodies), that they used to bring Devanampiya and Piyadassi back to life, or a semi-prohibited spell they used to have a child with Keziah, since they doesn't produce gametes. The magic spell they uses the most is one to correct their aim when using a bow.
The first weapons they ever used were a pair of kopis, which they owns since they were created and sometimes they uses them in the present as well. Then, they owns a set of four fans with sharp blades. They uses them during hand-to-hand combat and throws them like boomerangs if the enemy is distant. They owns similar knives too. Lastly, they owns a bow, their less used but infallible weapon. Their wings' feathers can be plucked and modeled in the shape of an arrow.
ー Past ー
In the beginning, she was created by Neutronium, her body took form using the first 56 Elements, lake water and the soft gloom of sunset. She was a simple angel and she was assigned the name "Nurma" (chosen by Higgs Boson). Due to the nature of her creation, she was extremely powerful. Nyuto created her only to fight to defend the Ship World, she was merely a warrior, she resided in the Castle but she wasn't part of society. She always followed Nyuto and didn't have relationships with anyone else, at first she didn't even talk. During those times she was much more violent. When she didn't fight, she used to observe the world from the top of the Castle. She wore a simple dress long to the ground, whose sleeves were large and only resting on their shoulders, so they always slipped down while fighting, leaving her half naked. Her hair was long till the feet, tied up in a ponytail with a long hair cuff.In a world so disorganised and chaotic like the old Ship World, where only Ship Devil was present and she couldn't handle all the various species alone despite her willingness to maintain peace, a duty Nurma had was to break up any brawl and reestablish order, even with violence. Due to this, her name started to spread around and she gained a certain authority thanks to the fear she induced. Like Nyuto used to say, Nurma's task was to protect the Ship World from the outside and from itself.
Even if her name was Nurma, the population started calling her by various "pseudonyms". The most common one was Merila, "butcher", also used in literature. Others were Dabihum, "slaughterer"; Sumug, "darkness, calamity"; Sallalu, "night bird", due to her habit of observing the world from the top of the Castle (a name mostly used as a joke); Naditum, "infertile woman", since there wasn't an appropriate term to describe her identity.
At some point, hoping she would help her maintain order, Ship Devil asked Nurma to become a God. At first Nurma refused, but she suddenly got interested when Ship Devil mentioned the possibility of becoming stronger. Nurma challenged Ship Devil to a duel to confirm if what she was saying was true. Nurma lost, so she accepted. Nyuto was indifferent to that decision - he was convinced that becoming a God wouldn't have changed her original duty.
Then, while time passed, it was thanks to Ship Devil's pacific influence that Ship God (who abandoned the name Nurma) started to calm down and gradually abandoned violence. The times when they would constantly wield their blades and they only knew brute force became part of the past.
Nurma's existence has been cancelled both from memories and history, but there's some traces left in some poems and prose written by Higgs Boson, where her identity is hidden under one of their pseudonyms. At some point, Keziah will understand the correlation between "Nurma" and Ship God, and Neutronium will confirm it, but she'll never talk about it.
ー In AUs ー
ー School!AUThey's a teacher, but they's completely opposite to the hard-working and adorable Ship Devil. They doesn't give a fuck about students, they's always stressed out, everyday they drinks way too many coffees and they's not committed to their job at all. They often forgets about tests and finals. They doesn't even waste time teaching properly, because "we still promote them anyway". When students start a fight, they always hopes one of them kicks the bucket, possibly one of the students in their classes. In this AU they’s married with Keziah, who works as curator at the local museum.
ー AU where Blood World and Ship World are allies (Evil!AU)
In this AU the story goes in a different way since the beginning. She's created by Neutronium to be a warrior and assassin under Azure's command and execute all of her orders. She becomes a God to be stronger, like canon-wise, but doesn't take the role. She'll stay "Nurma" until the present, there'll be no "Ship God". Her subordinates and her are all under Azure. She immensely respects her and follows her everywhere.
About Keziah, they met her randomly. She was a criminal that started fires and mad bombs just to have fun. One day, they found themselves in the same place. Nurma to suppress a riot, Keziah to burn something and bring down a building, but the same building Nurma was in. When she noticed, she hurried to reach Nurma and tell her to run away, while all the rioting people stayed inside and died under the rubble. To thank her, Nurma invited her to drink something and to stay in the Castle, since Keziah didn't have a home. In the end they had a relationship and a son (like in canon), however Keziah was assassinated during a riot, where by Nurma's hands nobody came out alive from. Eventually, Nurma shut herself in more than before and decided that her only purpose in life was to serve Azure.
About relationships, after Keziah she won't forge a bond with anyone else. She only lives for Azure and to obey her orders. She doesn't have a bond with subordinates, only strictly "professional". She doesn't interact with Azure's friends such as Silver and Blood World witches, she doesn't care about what they say unless Azure tells her to. To Nurma, only Azure's word matters ー everything else is irrelevant.
ー Human!AU
Nurma Yaldiko, a 27-year-old man. Born in Iran, he transferred to Azerbaijan during adolescence, where he met Sevda. Then, they moved to Japan together when they were around 20. They live in a small flat in the centre of Mitakihara. Nurma works as a programmer in the field of architecture; thanks to this job he met Keziah, who he's been engaged with for a little more than a year. He's that kind of employee that comes, does his job and goes, without saying anything or interacting with his colleagues, because he doesn't want them to know about his private life. He's an extremely reserved man, also obsessed with tidiness. When he's not working, he's out somewhere drinking ー he's rarely home. In his free time, he likes to wear long elegant dresses; one of the reasons why he keeps his life a secret and doesn't share anything with his colleagues. When he walks by the street, some people catcall him, some call him a crossdresser. Others call him a transvestite, and if they're within his arm's reach he beats them. He was sued for assault once, but the lawsuit was dropped. He's always worried about Keziah finding him weird and leaving him… while Keziah adores him and his style. In the future they'll marry. Somehow he's friends with Azure.
ー Idol!AU
Member of the duo "Night Bird, Don't Sing" together with Sevda, under the name "Sallalu". They sings and plays the acoustic guitar. The name of the group is a reference to Blackbird by Norma John. The duo was born as a hobby, it's quite popular, Sevda and Sallalu love their fans so much and they often meet them around the city where they live. Their music is simple, easy to dance and sing, and catchy. They wrote a couple of summer hits. They only write in English. They're friends with MiMaCon and sometimes they write a song together.
ー Good Ending AU (the Blood World doesn't disappear, Ashoka doesn't die, Shiphrah doesn't commit suicide)
In this AU Ship Devil succeeds in convincing them not to commit suicide and try to go to therapy. This is the only AU where in the end they confesses to Ship Devil that they never loved her, that they forced themself to feel a fake love (but Devil already knew anyway). They also abandons their role as a God, but they won't reveal it publicly. Later, they'll see Ship Devil's murdered by her sister, and they'll be so shocked they'll completely surrender. Left alone, they'll ally with Devil's sister, and they'll become a warrior once again, like at the beginning.

- Once they challenged Sevda to drink as many margaritas as possible. Sevda collapsed after the first one, Shiphrah drank 22.

Later they kept updating it by adding difficulty levels, account creation and guilds, leaderboard and achievements. They stopped at version 6.3, but the game is still online and active.
- The various names in the different languages of the Ship World are not equivalent to “Ship God” but each has a different meaning based on the culture of the population and their view of Shiphrah’s figure.
